Privacy Policy

ACE Match is an app for groups of tennis and padel players: it schedules matches, makes the teams, keeps the scores and the rankings. This page explains which data we use, why, how long we keep it and what your rights are.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Costel Ionașcu, a private individual and the developer of the app. You can write to us at any time at contact@icmdeveloper.eu.

2. What data we use and why

We do not sell your data and do not use it for anything other than the purposes above.

3. Who sees your data

Members of your groups see your name or nickname, photo, sign-ups, scores, rankings, achievements and messages in those groups.
Shared cards (the night's podium, the ranking) can reach anyone who receives the image. In Profile → "Show me on shared cards" you can ask to appear only as "Player" on other people's cards.
Our providers, who process data only on our behalf:
- Google (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore and Cloud Messaging), with the database in the European Union;
- Google (AdMob), for ads;
- Google Play, for purchases;
- Host-Age (Romania), for our server, profile photos and backups.
Google may process some data outside the European Economic Area, with the safeguards the law requires (the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework).
Authorities, only when the law obliges us.

4. How long we keep data

Account, profile and photo: until you delete your account.
Scores and matches: they stay in the groups' rankings, but after your account is deleted you appear in them only as "Deleted player", without a name.
Messages: until you or an admin delete them, or the group is deleted.
Notification tokens: until you sign out, delete your account or the token stops being valid.
Database backups: 90 days, then they are deleted automatically.
Server logs: at most 90 days.

5. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict its processing, receive it in a portable form and object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what was done before.

Deleting your account: in the app, Profile → Account → Delete account, or on the /delete-account page.
Changing your data: Profile → Edit.
Any other request: contact@icmdeveloper.eu. We answer within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP (www.dataprotection.ro), or to the authority of your country.

6. Minimum age

The app is for people aged 16 or over. When you create an account you confirm that you are. If we learn that an account belongs to someone younger, we delete it.

7. Security

Data travels encrypted (HTTPS). Access to the database is limited by security rules: you only see the data of the groups you belong to. Our server checks every request against your sign-in token.

8. Changes

When we change this policy, we update the date at the top. Important changes are announced in the app.
